Description: Featuring a mix of abstract icons within elliptical shapes, Provence was one of the three wallpapers that Lucienne Day designed for the 1951 Festival of Britain – the landmark exhibition that has long been a source of inspiration for Mini Moderns. Working closely with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, Mini Moderns has created this faithful reissue of the original design. Robin Day famously used Provence to decorate his room-sets, inextricably linking the design to the post-war 'Contemporary' style. It is digitally printed in the UK using water-based inks on FSC certified paper.
